Today’s Reason-To-Workout 5-3-10

Last month, my friend Kimberly was talking about how a friend of hers had emailed a reason to workout every day for an entire year…and in that year she went from not working out to running a half marathon this past month!  Way to freakin’ go, Kimberly!

It seems everyone has a Fit Tip of the Day, so in honor of Kimberly and her friend Lisa, here begins the FitMomma Today’s Reason to Workout.

Monday, May 3, 2010 – Because if you don’t take care of the body you have, where ya gonna live?

    Way to go FitMomma. I like your tip. After 40 odd years of chasing fitness in one form or another here’s mine: If you don’t feel like doing a run, workout or whatever you were going to do then just get dressed for it and do just a little. The discipline practise serves you well and it is surprising what you can do once you just start. If you are really tired or sick or something you can always just do your little bit and then take it easy. At least you have the satisfaction of your discipline and then it is easier next time.
