One Whole Week
This blog post is coming to you from my stationary bike. I am literally pedaling and pecking at the same time (Lord love my iPhone!)
You see (confession ahead), it’s been a whole week since I worked out. Oh, I can talk a good game and give you a reason to sweat your ass off everyday, but it doesn’t always work for myself. I’ve literally fought with myself all day about working out – I need to get this done first, I don’t know if I have time, I need to keep the kids entertained…and so on and so on.
And I was standing there, making my bed, room in chaos, when I looked at the bike and said, “What the hell are you waiting for?” (Or maybe the bike said that to me.)
So now here I am…
The bed still isn’t made, laundry basket on the floor, crap stacked in the corner. It’s been a week, I’m starting to feel the effects of non-movement, and my life (and my space) does not have to be perfect to make this work.
