Currently, I’m rejecting the notion that working hard requires a paycheck, and am a stay-home mom to my 12 year old stepdaugther, 5 year old son and 2 year old son. Originally born in California, I’ve also lived in Texas, and have been a St. Louisan since I was 12 years old. I’ve done many things to earn a paycheck – AE for a PR firm, Marketing Manager for an internet start-up, Photoshoot Producer for a fashion catalog, and Director of Marketing for a homebuilder. What exactly did that get me? An incredible appreciation for what can’t be accomplished in life by working 9-5.
I did not discover fitness until I was 26 years old, when I found myself at a personal crossroads. Since then, I’ve spent hours…days….of my life reading, researching, experimenting, failing and succeeding in diet and exercise. My failures and subsequent successes are what inspire this blog and I hope inspire other moms and dads to love themselves enough to get up and move their bodies.
Not only do I practice my writing skills out on this blog, I write a personal blog for family and friends at amylatta.wordpress.com; design photocards at LattaLuvPhotoCards.com; and have been known to sell a Pampered Chef item or two. Somewhere in there, I raise my family and try to remember to sleep.

Mandy Whitacre – NatureMomma
This is my awesome friend, Mandy. We’re working on a bio for her, so please stay tuned. I can tell you that she’s an incredible mother of two, ice skating instructor and overall Nature lover. She was Green before Green was Cool.
